Ideas for Commemorating, Honoring and Celebrating
The International Day of Radiant Peace,
January 22, March 22, June 22 & October 22!

A unique opportunity for YOU to be a part of this world-wide observance

YOU, yourself, or along with family, friends and many other Radiant Beings around the world can use your own creativity to honor, commemorate and celebrate in any way you choose!  People are planning a variety of ways to participate in the International Day of Radiant Peace, some of which are included on our celebrations page.  Please be sure to let us know what you will be doing!  If you take pictures, we would love to have copies to share.  We will be continuing to put ways that you celebrated and observed this day on this site and in future Newsletters & Journals.

bulletDisplay Radiant Peace flags in your city or town on January 22, March 22, June 22 and/or October 22! Contact the Radiant Peace Place International office for information on how to order at discount rates.
bulletGive out Radiant Peace Patches and/or Stickers to celebrate this special event! Contact Radiant Peace Place International for more information.
bulletRing bells for Radiant Peace on or near this date — people in several U.S. cities and in Great Britain, Greece and Australia have locations near them participating in this project!
bulletCreate a Walk for Radiant Peace — happening in the U.S., Great Britain, Germany, and throughout Europe!
bulletPut stickers on your mail reminding people of the dates — contact us and we’ll send them to you!
bulletHost a Radiant Peace picnic, cookout, lunch or dinner.
bulletHave a special dinner with recipes from different cultures!
bulletGet together with friends and share with one another what Radiant Peace means to you! Please write these down and send them to us at the address below.
bulletMake up a skit, sing a song, write a song about Radiant Peace and perform it for others!
bulletHave a Radiant Peace art party: Get some paper plates or poster paper and use paints, stickers and other art supplies to create your own images of what makes you feel peaceful!
bulletLight candles for Radiant Peace!
bulletWrite a poem or do a special meditation or prayer for Radiant Peace!
bulletStart a list with your friends: "101 Ways to be a Radiant Peacemaker"! Share this activity with the public at a mall or a library.
bulletHave your city or state issue a proclamation celebrating The International Day of Radiant Peace each and every year! Use the sample proclamation as an example.
bulletCreate a "Speak of Radiant Peace" event in your neighborhood or community — invite children, parents and community members to come and share their ideas about Radiant Peace. Sings songs about Radiant Peace.
bulletVisit an Assisted Living facility in your area. Interview the residents about the importance of Radiant Peace in their lives, and give away Radiant Peace Patches.
